Frequently asked questions
How much does a concrete driveway cost in Vancouver, WA?
National figures from HomeGuide for 2026 put a concrete driveway at $6 to $15 per square foot, or $2,400 to $8,600 for a two-car driveway. Those are not our quotes. Slope, tear-out, base work and finish set your price. See our concrete cost guide.
Do I need a permit to replace my driveway in Vancouver?
The City of Vancouver says a like for like replacement on your lot needs no over-the-counter land use permit. Changing the driveway, adding one or building an RV pad does. Work on the approach, curb or sidewalk needs a Right-of-Way permit.
Who has to fix the sidewalk in front of my house?
Inside the City of Vancouver, the abutting property owner. The city cites Vancouver Municipal Code 11.30 and requires a permit to work in the right of way before the repair.
Can you pour concrete in the rainy season?
Yes, in dry gaps. We do not pour in steady rain, because rain during finishing weakens the surface. Expect some date changes between October and May.
How long before I can use new concrete?
Walk on it after one to two days. Drive a car on it after about a week. It reaches design strength at about 28 days, so keep heavy vehicles off until then.

Vancouver, Washington, in Clark County, across the Columbia River from Portland. We work in Vancouver and nearby Clark County towns such as Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground and Ridgefield.
